Shia-Sunni Reonciliation and Muslim Unity

Since centuries, Shia and Sunni hiatus exists in Muslim Ummah. Historically observing, this has certainly halted progress among Muslims of the world especially in intellectual domain. All energies had been wasted in broadening this hiatus without undertaking a rational inquiry in to the dispute, its roots, its genesis and its culmination in 21st century when #MuslimUnity is highly crucial.

The whole drama was planned, controlled and directed by the fringe elements in Islamic history, popularly known as "Kharajites" or Khawarij i.e. expelled and kicked out from the Deen of Islam.

Firstly, Peer Meher Ali Shah, a Sufi Scholar, wrote a book Tasfia-Ma Bain Sunni Wa Shia. Later, Allama Tahirul Qadri, a retired professor of Law, renowned scholar of Islamic world and undoubtedly a living legend of Islamic wisdom lectured a long discourse on the subject that in total makes 39 Hours, 51 Minutes and 47 Seconds.

In the lecture, Prof. Qadri categorically makes it clear that  differences and alien attitude between two houses of Islam nowhere exists early days. After the visaal of Prophet (PBUH), kharajites promoted this factionalism. People in both the houses, unfortunately, got mired in Kharji vortex and still they are.
